Larissa Holtmyer Jones, President and CEO

Larissa Holtmyer Jones is responsible for the people, processes and systems that advance the mission of Iowa State University through philanthropy, and oversees stewardship for the gifts the university receives. She serves as principal liaison between the leadership of Iowa State and the foundation board of directors. Holtmyer Jones previously served as vice president for development at the foundation, a role she had held since August 2008.

Jeremy Galvin, Vice President and Chief Development Officer

Jeremy Galvin serves as the vice president and chief development officer, a position he has held at the Iowa State University Foundation since 2015. Prior to that, he served at the Iowa State University Foundation as the assistant vice president, senior director of development for the Ivy College of Business, and as a development officer on the annual and special gifts team. Jeremy has been with the foundation since 2003.

Rosa Unal, Vice President and Chief Information Officer

Rosa Unal serves as the vice president and chief information officer at the Iowa State University Foundation. She leads the data, analytics and technology services at the Iowa State University Foundation, including oversight of IT operations, systems applications, business intelligence, prospect development, information management, information security and privacy, data governance and analytics. Rosa also develops and maintains the foundation’s technology strategic plans and provides leadership for interdisciplinary teams working on technology and innovation, digital transformation, enterprise risk management and other strategic initiatives. She has been with the Iowa State University Foundation since 1994.

Ann Ross, Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer

Ann Ross serves as the vice president and chief human resources officer at the Iowa State University Foundation. In her role, Ann is responsible for developing and leading the overall human capital strategy in support of the Iowa State University Foundation. A proud Iowa State graduate, Ann had a long career at Thomson Reuters in human resources at the vice president level prior to joining the foundation in 2021.

Emily Hager, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Emily Hager serves as the vice president and chief financial officer. She acts as an advisor to the president and CEO on matters pertaining to investments, financial planning and management, governance and compliance, internal controls and legal matters. Emily oversees the foundation’s financial resources, gift processing, accounting, donor compliance services and investment management. As CFO, Emily is responsible for the integrity of the foundation’s systems and all fiscal and accounting functions, as well as compliance with donor intent. Emily has been with the foundation since 2013.

Mel Rowan, Assistant Vice President of Strategic Initiatives

Mel Rowan serves as the assistant vice president of strategic initiatives, working closely with leadership team members and staff to facilitate solutions when issues arise both inside and outside the Iowa State University Foundation and expedite responses across the organization. Mel coordinates, facilitates and prepares reports, briefings, presentations and background materials on strategic initiatives and emerging issues, and proposes recommendations leading to solutions. She has been with the foundation since 2007.
