Priorities
Place yourself in the year 2050 and ask what critical worldwide issues must be met to ensure we still have thriving societies. We must have renewable energy sources, clean water, and sustainable agriculture and manufacturing practices.
These and other life-changing issues constitute what we call the 2050 Challenge. They compel us to partner with innovators and leaders from around the world to research and implement engineering technologies that ensure a prosperous future. We are investigating solutions, creating cutting-edge technologies, and preparing future leaders.
The College of Engineering’s campaign goal is to secure $275 million in private funding. Your investment will enable the college to pursue its education and research missions, and continue to meet global challenges to make all of our lives safer, healthier and more meaningful.
