The College of Agriculture and Life Sciences has never been on a more exciting threshold. With proven capabilities in support of food, feed and fiber we now lead interdisciplinary areas of great importance to society. We are working to:
Enhance national energy security through discoveries in grains and biomass crops.
Improve human nutrition through food research and development.
Preserve water quality and inform decisions about conservation practices.
We will explore the frontiers of science to make breakthroughs happen. Putting science and technology to work, we will fill the need for leadership in food, agricultural, environmental, and social sciences.
With investments in faculty and facilities, we will make new discoveries and translate them into viable technologies, information, services, and products to improve economies. Campaign Iowa State also is an opportunity to expand support for students and the important programs that shape their Iowa State experiences.
