The Iowa State University Foundation Office of Gift Planning will offer “Overcoming the Challenges of Retirement and Estate Planning in the Decade Ahead” Tuesday, Oct. 13, for Iowa State current and retired faculty and staff members.
The symposium will be held at The Gateway Hotel & Conference Center beginning at 6 p.m. There is no charge for this event.
The symposium will include a panel discussion featuring local attorneys and financial advisors.

BioCentury Research Farm Dedication
Iowa State University President Gregory L. Geoffroy officially opened the BioCentury Research Farm by cutting the ribbon with a John Deere combine. Among the speakers at the dedication ceremonies Tuesday, Sept. 22, was Lt. Governor Patty Judge (right).
Dedication ceremonies were held Tuesday, Sept. 22, at the BioCentury Research Farm, the first-in-the-nation integrated research and demonstration facility dedicated to biomass production and processing. Lt. Gov. Patty Judge was among those who gave remarks, and President
Gregory L. Geoffroy opened the facility by cutting the ribbon with a John Deere combine.
