University Expending More Gift Dollars
Funds transferred from the Iowa State University Foundation to Iowa State in the current fiscal year have exceeded the total transferred funds over the same time period in FY08.

As of March 31, 2009, $37.2 million in funds from the ISU Foundation have been expended by Iowa State colleges, departments and programs. That compares to $30.3 million from July to March in fiscal year 2008.
The increase in gift funds expended by the campus community has occurred in all four areas represented by Campaign Iowa State: With Pride and Purpose including student support, faculty support, programmatic support, and facilities.
The ISU Foundation funds spent by Iowa State units in these areas include:
- Student Support - $10.8 million (FY09) and $8.9 million (FY08)
- Faculty Support - $4.2 million (FY09) and $3.8 million (FY08)
- Programmatic Support - $8.8 million (FY09) and $6.4 million (FY08)
- Facilities - $12.8 million (FY09) and $10.9 million (FY08)
