The Dallas Center, Iowa, resident, formerly of Keokuk, Iowa, died at age 67 in August 2010, dividing his estate between Iowa State University, the University of Iowa, and the American Cancer Society, and contributing approximately $140,000 to each organization.
Iowa State University Foundation Announces Six New Governors
Six individuals with strong ties to Iowa State University were recently elected governors of the Iowa State University Foundation. ISU Foundation governors, who are appointed for life, serve as ambassadors and advocates for Iowa State and the ISU Foundation, providing volunteer and financial support to benefit the university. This group meets semi-annually and many serve on a standing committee, including audit, awards, governance, communications, finance, and investment.

For the sixth straight year, benefactors to Iowa State University made gifts and future commitments totaling more than $100 million through the Iowa State University Foundation. Nearly 40,000 benefactors contributed $101.9 million between July 1, 2011, and June 30, 2012.

AMES, Iowa – Roger J. Neuhaus has been named president of the Iowa State University Foundation. Neuhaus is currently senior vice president for development and university campaigns at the University of Arizona Foundation.

A grant of $375,000 from the Roy J. Carver Trust will support cancer research by Maura McGrail, assistant professor in the Iowa State University Department of Genetics, Development and Cell Biology. The department resides in both the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
Iowa State University Foundation announces leadership succession
Following a regularly scheduled board meeting Monday, Feb. 9, the Iowa State University Foundation Board of Directors announced that Roger Neuhaus, president and chief executive officer, will be leaving the organization. Larissa Holtmyer Jones will become president and CEO.
